The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, a deep appreciation for hospitality, and the ability to work in a peaceful, retreat-focused environment. Key Responsibilities Assist the Head Chef in preparing meals for retreat guests, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Take direction well from Head Chef Lead shifts when Head Chef is not present. Prepare meals that accommodate dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, and allergy-sensitive options. Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and food storage to minimize waste and control costs. Maintain cleanliness and organization in compliance with health and safety regulations. Train and supervise kitchen assistants or volunteers as needed Qualifications & Skills Experience in a professional kitchen ideally in a catering or buffet style operation. Strong knowledge food prep, and kitchen safety. Ability to work in a team-oriented and faith-centered environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
