Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an Early Childhood Dietary/Cook, where your culinary skills and passion for nurturing young minds come together! In this vital role, you will prepare nutritious, appealing meals tailored to young children's dietary needs, ensuring a safe and enjoyable eating experience. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster healthy habits and support the overall well-being of our little learners. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine culinary expertise with early childhood development in a lively, supportive environment. Duties Plan and prepare balanced, kid-friendly meals and snacks in accordance with dietary guidelines and nutritional standards Follow strict food safety and handling protocols to maintain a clean, safe kitchen environment Assist in menu planning to incorporate variety, seasonal ingredients, and special dietary requirements Cook and assemble meals using proper knife skills and food preparation techniques suitable for young children Serve meals with a friendly attitude, encouraging positive eating habits and social interaction during meal times Maintain accurate records of food inventory, storage, and sanitation procedures Collaborate with staff to ensure meal times are smooth, timely, and enjoyable for children Experience Previous experience working in dietary departments is a plus.

Pay:
$9.00 - $11.00 per hour
