  • Full-time Job Summary Join our vibrant team as a versatile Food Service Associate, where you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences through efficient food preparation, attentive cashiering, and seamless kitchen support.

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, friendly setting while contributing to the overall success of our café or quick service restaurant. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude Operate cash registers using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, ensuring quality and consistency Maintain cleanliness by washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment; assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas Uphold food safety and sanitation standards through proper food handling and hygiene practices Support the kitchen team with basic food prep tasks and restocking supplies to ensure smooth operations Assist with upselling menu items to enhance sales opportunities and improve guest satisfaction Experience Previous experience in food service or quick service restaurants is preferred but not required; training will be provided Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a high level of customer service Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy Experience working in a café, retail store, grocery store, or food industry setting is advantageous Join us to be part of an energetic team dedicated to creating memorable dining experiences!
