Prep Cook - PartTime Nicks Roast Beef Beverly, MA Job Details Part-time | Full-time From $20 an hour 22 hours ago Qualifications Food handling Food service Time management Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a passionate Prep Cook to join our kitchen staff team at Nick's Famous Roast Beef. Nick's is a beloved quick-serve restaurant serving roast beef sandwiches, fried side dishes such as french fries & onion rings, and Greek salads. The ideal candidate will be willing to learn how to trim and prepare the beef, prep vegetables, salads, breads, and burgers, as well as maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen. As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for prepping ingredients and preparing food items while adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Pay ranges from $20-$23/hour based on experience + tips. We are seeking a prep cook to work 7am-12pm Monday - Friday. Responsibilities Prepare and cook according to established recipes. Ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices are followed at all times. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives, slicers, fryers, and other cooking tools. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in foodservice is a plus but not required. Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations within the food industry or the willingness to learn these standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
