Job Description

Job Summary Are you passionate about food, quality, and creating great dining experiences? We're looking for a dedicated cook to join our team. In this role, you'll work closely with the Sodexo Production Manager to prepare high-quality meals while maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen, values teamwork, and takes pride in delivering consistently excellent food. What You'll Do Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and production schedules Read and follow menus, recipes, and food preparation instructions with accuracy Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment in compliance with food safety guidelines Ensure proper food handling, storage, and labeling procedures Support kitchen operations and collaborate with team members to meet service goals Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in the workplace What You Bring Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred Formal culinary or cook training program preferred Experience Completion of a formal cook training program preferred 3+ years of commercial cooking or food service experience preferred Certifications ServSafe certification preferred Skills & Abilities Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English Strong understanding of food safety, sanitation, and safe work practices Ability to follow written menus, recipes, and instructions accurately Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Why Join Us?
