Job Description
About us Timberyard Brewing Co. is a brewery and taproom; our goal is to create a welcoming, and hospitable environment for people who enjoy craft beer, good food, and live music.
Responsibilities:
Work alongside the chef to execute the menu from prep to delivery Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (chopping, peeling, cutting etc.) Operate kitchen equipment such as the smoker, ovens, stovetop Keep a clean and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Take care in the presentation of every plate Work with the Beer Server team to expo orders efficientlyPersonal Attributes:
Positive attitude and amiable personality Eager to learn, listen, and ask questions Strong work ethic and willingness to support others Confidence in working independently Ability to handle change and keep calm under pressurePhysical Requirements:
Sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching Seeing, talking, hearing, tasting, smelling Lifting up to 55 pounds on a daily basis Pushing up to 170 pounds multiple times on a daily basis Experience in using cutting tools, cookware and bakeware Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods (grilling, baking, boiling etc.) Ability to follow all sanitation procedures Ability to work with a team Very good communication skillsExperience Requirements:
BBQ experience a plus Qualifications- Solid experience in food preparation, cooking, and meal planning
- Proficiency in knife skills and culinary techniques
- Previous restaurant and kitchen experience
- Familiarity with food handling and sanitation practices
- Strong communication skills for effective teamwork
- ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Job Type:
Part-time Pay:
$20.00- $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 25
- 35 per week
