Job Description:

Southeast Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center is seeking a full-time Cook to join our dynamic care team in North Easton. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in preparing nutritious meals for our patients and residents.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing food according to standardized recipes, ensuring proper serving temperatures, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Your passion for food and commitment to excellent patient care will make you a valuable addition to our team.

Responsibilities:

Follow therapeutic diets ordered by physicians Ensure proper serving temperature of food Maintain visual appeal of food Monitor daily nourishments and follow standardized recipes Ensure proper portion control Adhere to sanitation and storage policy and procedure Perform other duties assigned by the manager

Requirements:

Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public Knowledge of dining service procedures, related laws, regulations, and guidelines Ability to lead and supervise professional and non-professional personnel Ability to maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, and work areas Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm
