102 Main St, Maynard, MA 01754 Boston Bean House has an immediate opportunity for a passionate and energetic individual to join our growing team as an Assistant Cook / Line Cook . Ideal candidates have a high degree of customer focus and enjoy being part of a fun, high-energy & efficient team, and LOVE food.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customer orders with accuracy and efficiency
• Provide support to the Boston Bean House Chef and assist with maintaining supplies, handling leftovers, preparing food, testing new recipes, cleaning the kitchen, keeping cooking utensils organized, and plating dishes.
• Preparing food, such as sandwiches or baked goods, grinding and blending coffee beans, brewing coffee and tea, and serving items to customers
• Provide quality service, taking pride in working behind the scenes to prepare quality products for our customers
• Contribute to an overall positive and collaborative environment
• Maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulation
• A strong commitment to customer satisfaction and service excellence Preferred background & qualifications:
• Previous experience as an Assistant Cook or Line Cook
• Exceptional listening and communication skills; and superior customer service skills
• Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods
