Support kitchen operations during busy service hours by efficiently managing multiple orders and coordinating with team members. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients with precision using proper knife skills. Ensure cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts to uphold sanitation standards. Contribute to catering events or special functions by preparing large quantities of food while maintaining quality standards. Collaborate with the culinary team to optimize workflow, improve recipes, and enhance overall kitchen efficiency. Qualifications Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service environments is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques. Experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is a plus, demonstrating familiarity with special dietary needs. Proven skills in knife handling, meal preparation, and culinary techniques gained through restaurant or food industry experience. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel.
