Duties Prepare and cook a variety of grilled items and pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications Ensure all food is cooked to the proper temperature, quality, and presentation standards Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station and pizza prep area, adhering to food safety guidelines Assist with menu planning by suggesting new ideas or modifications based on customer preferences and seasonal ingredients Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices are followed at all times Support food service operations during busy hours by efficiently preparing orders for dine-in or takeout Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations and timely delivery of meals Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or food industry setting, particularly with grill or pizza preparation, is highly preferred Strong knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards Culinary experience with an emphasis on cooking techniques for grilled dishes and pizza making Excellent knife skills for precise food prep and ingredient handling Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and catering is a plus Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience can be beneficial for accommodating special dietary needs Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail If you're passionate about creating mouthwatering grilled dishes and artisan pizzas while delivering exceptional food service, we want to hear from you!
