Whether you're creating classic favorites or innovative new recipes, your contribution will be vital to our vibrant kitchen environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your culinary skills while working alongside passionate professionals committed to excellence. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines Assist in menu planning by suggesting new dishes and improvements based on customer feedback and seasonal ingredients Ensure food safety protocols are strictly followed during food handling, storage, and preparation Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations Support food preparation activities such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients for service Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders during busy service hours Handle food with care, ensuring proper portioning and presentation for each dish served Experience Previous experience in a food industry setting such as restaurants, catering, or food service is highly preferred Demonstrated culinary experience with strong knife skills and meal preparation techniques Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices Experience in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and serving in a fast-paced environment Kitchen experience that includes food industry best practices for cleanliness, safety, and efficiency Ability to adapt quickly to new recipes and kitchen procedures while maintaining high-quality standards
Pay:
$18.00 - $24.48 per hour
