Job Description

Line Cook Duties:
  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with established recipes and standards
  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner
  • Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of the kitchen
Experience:
  • Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Skills:
  • Catering experience is a plus
  • Experience in a dietary department or food service setting is beneficial
  • Knowledge of different dietary restrictions and special diets is an asset
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
