Must be able to start immediately Must have open availability with no schedule restrictions Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent kitchen skills, and experience in various food service environments. This role involves preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced setting, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Previous experience in fine dining, catering, or the food industry is highly valued. The position offers an opportunity to grow within a professional kitchen environment and develop culinary expertise. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation standards Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for daily service and special events Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety guidelines Handle food with care, ensuring proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives and cooking appliances Support the team during busy periods by managing multiple orders simultaneously Ensure all dishes meet quality standards before serving to customers Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service Assist in catering events by preparing large quantities of food as required Serve food to guests when needed, providing excellent customer service Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Experience with menu planning and fine dining presentation standards Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Familiarity with catering services and large-scale food production is a plus Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team Prior dietary aide or dietary department experience is advantageous but not required This position is ideal for individuals passionate about culinary arts who are eager to develop their skills further while contributing to a dynamic kitchen environment.
