Job Overview Join our dynamic culinary team as a Line Cook/Prep Cook, where your passion for food and dedication to quality will shine! In this vital role, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, and ensuring every plate meets our high standards. Whether you're chopping, sautéing, or plating, you'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional meals with speed and precision. Duties Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, slicing, and portioning to ensure smooth kitchen operations Cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards, maintaining consistency and quality Assist with menu planning by suggesting daily specials or modifications based on available ingredients Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all food handling and preparation meet health regulations Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts to promote a safe environment Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and optimize workflow during busy hours Skills Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a related culinary role within restaurants or food service environments Strong knife skills with the ability to handle various kitchen tools safely and efficiently Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures Experience in menu planning and meal preparation for diverse dietary needs or catering events Familiarity with dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus for accommodating special diets Excellent food industry knowledge including kitchen operations, food service practices, and culinary techniques Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of quality Embark on a culinary journey with us where your skills are valued, your growth is supported, and every day brings new opportunities to create memorable dining experiences!
