Line Cook/Prep Cook

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation and help maintain a smooth food service operation. If you have a passion for culinary arts and are experienced in kitchen operations, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
• Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to set recipes
• Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
• Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
• Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
• Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
• Check quality of ingredients

Skills:

• Experience in a culinary role or similar capacity
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Ability to work well in a team setting
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficient with knives and other kitchen tools
• Prior experience in a restaurant or food service establishment is a plus
