Cold Cook-Full time (day & mid day rotating weekly schedule) $19.24/hr-$24/hr based on experience Broadmead | A Quaker Values-Based Community Do you enjoy preparing fresh food in a positive, team‑oriented environment? Broadmead is looking for a dependable Cold Cook to support dining services for our residents, staff, and guests. At Broadmead, we're guided by Quaker values— respect, integrity, compassion, and excellence —and we take pride in creating a warm, resident‑centered dining experience. What You'll Do Prepare and serve cold foods such as salads, sandwiches, and desserts Set up and stock salad bars, cafés, and buffet areas Follow recipes, food safety, and sanitation standards Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Work as part of a supportive culinary team What We're Looking For Basic food prep or kitchen experience (helpful but not required) Ability to follow recipes and food safety guidelines Willingness to obtain ServSafe certification Strong teamwork, reliability, and customer service skills Ability to meet health and physical requirements Why Broadmead Mission‑driven, inclusive workplace Supportive team culture Meaningful work serving a close‑knit community
