State of art building with great benefits Benefits Full time Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Health, Dental, and Vision insurances 401(k), and 401(k) matching Tuition Reimbursement The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by the Certified Dietary Manager, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. Examples of Work Work with the facility dietary department as necessary to implement recommended changes as required Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus that are palatable and appetizing in appearance Assist in serving meals as necessary, and on a timely basis Assist in planning regular and special diet menus Prepare and serve substitute foods to residents as needed Ensure that food and supplies for the next meal are readily available Assist in inventorying and storing in-coming food, supplies, etc., as necessary Work hours include rotating weekends, no late-night hours! Qualifications & Requirements Must be a team player with a strong work ethic and the willingness to help where and when it is needed One (1) year dietary/food service experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, preferred Effective verbal and written English communication skills Ability to cook a variety of foods in large quantities Must be able to work in well-lit/ventilated areas. Atmosphere is warm for cooking Must move intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions Work beyond normal duty hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Carry up to 25 lbs Reach above and below shoulder height Stand on feet for 8+ hours daily #ACC2023
