$17-$19/hour About Us La Table du Château is a boutique French-inspired catering and hospitality company focused on elevated food, farmers markets, private events, and community-driven experiences. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team member who enjoys both kitchen prep and working directly with customers in a fast-paced farmers market environment. Position Overview This role combines food prep, cooking, customer service, and market operations. Ideal candidates are comfortable working early mornings, lifting equipment, driving company vans, and maintaining a high standard of food quality and professionalism. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and menu items for farmers markets and catering events Assist with cooking, assembly, packaging, and kitchen organization Load, unload, and transport market equipment and products Drive company vans to and from markets and events Set up and break down farmers market booths Provide friendly and professional customer service during markets Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and organization standards Assist with inventory and restocking throughout shifts Support event and catering operations as needed Requirements Previous cooking and food prep experience required Previous van driving experience required Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong customer service and communication skills Reliable transportation and punctuality Ability to work weekends and flexible weekday shifts Team-oriented attitude with willingness to help where needed Schedule Monday through Sunday availability preferred Typical shifts range from 5-8 hours depending on market and prep needs Early morning availability is required for most market days Perks Staff meals during shifts Growth opportunities within a growing hospitality brand Creative and team-oriented work environment Opportunity to work at some of the region's top farmers markets and events We are looking for someone dependable, energetic, and passionate about food and hospitality who wants to grow with our team.
