Job Description

Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to support our kitchen team. The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients, ensuring the kitchen is stocked and organized, and assisting cooks and chefs with meal preparation. Key Responsibilities Wash, peel, and chop vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients. Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes. Assist in portioning and packaging food items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of prep areas and storage. Ensure all ingredients are properly labeled, dated, and stored. Support line cooks and chefs during service as needed. Follow all safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards. Qualifications Previous kitchen experience preferred but not required. Basic knife skills and familiarity with kitchen equipment. Strong work ethic and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and work for long periods of time. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes hot environment. INDBOH
