Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Prep Cook to join our team. As a Prep Cook, you will play a crucial role in assisting our team in preparing and organizing ingredients for meal preparation. Everything we serve is made in-house from scratch, making this an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food and looking to gain experience and broaden their skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and measuring ingredients
• Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistent quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
• Assist in dishwashing and cleaning

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Prep Cook or similar role preferred
• Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food preparation methods
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices

Skills:

• Knife skills for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients
• Experience in food service or kitchen environment
• Understanding of food safety procedures and guidelines
• Ability to work in a restaurant or catering setting We offer competitive pay based on experience.
