Overview We are seeking dedicated and energetic cooks to join our dynamic food service team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for supporting the dietary department with meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of meals with precision, utilizing proper knife skills and food handling techniques Support catering events by preparing ingredients, assembling dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen Serve meals efficiently while maintaining a friendly, professional demeanor with residents or guests Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served hygienically Contribute to kitchen operations by cleaning workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly Collaborate with team members to ensure timely meal delivery and high-quality food presentation Qualifications Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings is preferred Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry standards Strong understanding of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures Skills in catering, serving, and kitchen operations are advantageous Excellent knife skills and familiarity with culinary techniques required for diverse meal preparation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
