In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of scratch-made sandwiches and other dishes. Your passion for food and commitment to quality will help deliver an exceptional experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary skills while working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. We are a small family business with a very hands-on ownership team. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times. Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination. Support meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed. Use knife skills effectively for chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients efficiently. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and smooth kitchen operations. Requirements Prior experience in a kitchen is preferred; willingness to learn is essential. Demonstrated experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service environments, including restaurant or kitchen experience. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques. Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
