Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced culinary professional to join our team at Max's. We are seeking a full time line cook to work primarily on multiple stations in the kitchen during service. This role requires a "courage under fire" mentality as we operate a busy full service restaurant seven days a week. We are looking for at least two years of cooking in a fast paced and/or upscale restaurant. Formal culinary training is a huge plus but not a must. Strong communication skills, the ability to work well with others, and a strong background in operating multiple stations mostly related to hot line production in a kitchen are key to success in this role. Some prep is included in this role. Strong time management skills, knife skills, and a knowledge of a variety of cuisine is a must. The ability to accurately follow instructions and recipes, and positively interact with others is also key to success in this role. Well qualified candidates may be considered for a leadership role, depending on experience and skill set. Health insurance is offered to tenured staff (medical, dental, vision) that qualify.
