The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly in meal preparation and food safety practices. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests. Duties Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner, maintaining high quality and presentation. Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate meal service and ensure efficient workflow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Assist with catering events as needed, ensuring all meals meet client specifications. Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other culinary tools. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting shortages as necessary. Skills Proficient in food preparation techniques with experience in a restaurant or catering environment. Strong understanding of food safety practices and sanitation standards. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting. Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
