Cook (Part-Time) Green Acres Assisted Living - Ionia, MI $15.00 per hour Do you have the passion and heart to serve the elderly? Green Acres, an assisted living community in Ionia, is currently seeking an experienced Part-Time Cook to prepare nutritious, home-style meals and snacks for our residents. This is a meaningful opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking from scratch in a supportive, low-stress environment while serving a population that truly appreciates you. Schedule Part-time working 25-30 hours per week 2:30 PM - 7:30 PM or 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM Every other weekend required Holiday rotation required Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve nutritious, well-balanced meals and snacks Perform batch cooking from scratch Follow menus and portion guidelines Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen Ensure food safety compliance at all times Work collaboratively with team members to support resident satisfaction Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age Previous cooking experience required (commercial or large-batch preferred) Ability to prepare meals from scratch Dependable, organized, and team-oriented Must be able to pass a criminal background check Compensation $15.00 per hour If you are looking for a rewarding position where your work truly matters, we would love to meet you.
