Duties Prepare and cook breakfast items according to established recipes and menu specifications, ensuring consistency and quality. Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and assembling ingredients with precision and care. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering strictly to food safety standards and sanitation protocols. Assist in menu planning by suggesting new breakfast options or improvements based on guest preferences and seasonal ingredients. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing. Serve breakfast dishes efficiently to guests or coordinate with serving staff to ensure timely delivery. Follow all food handling procedures and safety regulations to prevent cross-contamination and ensure a safe dining environment. Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with food handling standards. Proven background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service—preferably within fine dining or catering environments. Strong culinary skills including knife techniques, meal preparation, and plating presentation. Experience in the food industry with knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety practices, and food handling regulations. Familiarity with menu planning, food service workflows, and catering operations is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
