Rotating Shift Description:
Cook Part Time The Cook prepares foodin accordance with current applicable federal,state and local standards,guidelines and regulations, with our established policies and procedures, and as may be directed by your supervisor to assure quality food service isprovided at all times. Reviews menus prior to preparation of food. Performs administrative requirements such as completing necessary forms, reports, etc., andsubmits to the Manager. Ensures that menus aremaintained and filedin accordance with established policies and procedures. Coordinate services with otherdepartments as necessary. Assists in serving meals as necessary and ona timely basis. Ensure that all procedures are followedin accordance with established policies. Assist in standardizing the methods in which work will beaccomplished. Assumes the authority,responsibility and accountability of Cook. Assists inestablishingfood service production line, etc., to assure that meals are prepared on time.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to cook a variety of foods inlarge quantities. Must be knowledgeable of dietary procedures. Mustpossess leadership ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel. Mustmaintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc., andmaintain the appearance of dietary service areas; must perform regular inspections of dietary service areas for sanitation, order,safety and proper performance of assigned duties.
