• Part-time, Full-time Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Prep/ Line Cook to join our culinary team.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in food preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are prepped and ready for cooking. This position requires a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Duties Prepare ingredients for cooking by washing, chopping, and measuring food items according to recipes. Assist in menu planning by providing input on seasonal ingredients and dish ideas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food safety standards. Handle food items with care, ensuring proper storage and labeling to prevent contamination. Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Support the culinary team by performing additional tasks as needed, including assisting in cooking when required. Skills Proficient knife skills for efficient food preparation. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and practices. Experience in menu planning and understanding dietary needs is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a busy kitchen setting. Familiarity with food handling techniques and culinary methods. Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly kitchen workspace. A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques.
