Position Summary We are seeking reliable, skilled Cooks to join our opening team. This role is responsible for preparing menu items according to recipe standards, maintaining a clean and organized station, and working efficiently during high-volume service. Cooks will be working hand in hand with the Markys staff to serve both dine in and carry out customers from both menus. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items on the grill, sauté, fry, or pantry stations Ensure all food meets Marky's quality and presentation standards Learn both the Marky's menu and Papas menu Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of work areas Follow recipes, portioning guidelines, and safety procedures Communicate clearly with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service Assist with prep work, stock rotation, and closing duties Uphold a positive, team-first attitude during all shifts Qualifications Previous line cook or kitchen experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and attention to detail Reliable, punctual, and consistent Ability to lift up to 30-40 lbs and stand for extended periods Must be able to work evenings and weekends Benefits Competitive pay Dual role opportunities Opportunity for advancement as we grow Supportive, fun, team-oriented work environment Brand-new kitchen and equipment Schedule Evening shifts Morning Shifts Weekend availability required Full-time and part-time roles available Start date: Late January 2026 Work Location In person -
