- Job Overview
- We are seeking a skilled Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation, menu planning, and cooking in various settings such as restaurants, catering, or fine dining establishments.
- Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including washing, peeling, and chopping
- Assist in cooking and preparing menu items according to recipes
- Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment
- Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served
- Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
- Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
- Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
- Experience
Required:
- Experience working as a Line Cook or Prep Cook in the food industry
- Knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures
- Understanding of food safety practices
