Duties Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness throughout the kitchen Assist in menu planning and food presentation to ensure visual appeal and quality Handle food with care, ensuring proper food handling techniques are followed at all times Support catering events and special functions with timely meal preparation and service Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours Use knife skills efficiently for chopping, slicing, dicing, and portioning ingredients Qualifications Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable Proven restaurant or fine dining experience demonstrating strong cooking skills Knowledge of food industry standards including food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures Experience with food preparation, meal assembly, and kitchen equipment operation Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and serving in a fast-paced environment Strong knife skills and proficiency in basic cooking techniques Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Join us to be part of a vibrant culinary team where your skills will make a real impact!
