Daytime Cook (breakfast on weekends) Welsch's Big Ten Arden Hills, MN Job Details Part-time | Full-time $18 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Kitchen health and safety standards Food service health code compliance Food safety Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Daytime Cook and to prepare and serve nutritious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, excellent food handling skills, and a passion for creating delicious dishes that meet dietary and safety standards. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a team committed to providing exceptional food service during daytime hours. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to menu specifications Ensure all food is prepared safely, following proper food handling and sanitation procedures Assist with meal plating and presentation to ensure appealing dish presentation Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food prep areas, Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy daytime hours Follow all safety protocols, including proper knife skills and equipment operation Experience Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants, catering services, or healthcare settings preferred Knowledge of dietary department standards and menu planning beneficial Experience with food safety practices and proper food handling techniques required Fine dining or restaurant experience is a plus but not mandatory Skills in meal preparation, food service, and food industry operations highly valued Ability to demonstrate excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques Prior experience in catering or serving is advantageous but not essential This position offers an engaging environment for culinary professionals eager to deliver exceptional meals while adhering to high standards of safety and quality.
