Full Job Description Reports To:
Kitchen Manager / Assistant Kitchen Manager Position Summary Prepares menu items to recipe and presentation standards in a fast-paced tavern kitchen. Key Responsibilities Prepare hot and cold menu items to standardized recipes, portions, and plating specs. Operate grill, fryer, sauté, oven, and other kitchen equipment safely. Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked station throughout each shift. Follow all food safety, sanitation, and other food management practices. Communicate clearly with the kitchen team and front-of-house staff. Assist with prep, line setup, and end-of-shift cleaning and breakdown. Qualifications & Requirements 2+ years of cooking experience in a restaurant or tavern kitchen preferred. Valid food handler / food safety certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days). Working knowledge of standard kitchen equipment and basic cooking techniques. Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 50 lb and be on their feet for 8 hours or more per shift. Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
