Job Description

Desired Qualifications High school diploma or GED Minnesota ServSafe Certification (or willing to obtain this) Knowledge of cooking and baking activities Desire to work in a camp community Good communication skills Ability to work with limited supervision Ability to get along with fellow employees and guests Ability to work in a team-based environment Ability to meet assigned deadlines Great attitude Ability to learn new skills Kitchen Staff Responsibilities Assist in preparing food for campers and staff Assist in maintaining a clean kitchen and dining hall Properly clean dishware, silverware, and cooking equipment Cleaning tables as needed Ensure that all equipment is clean and stored properly Summary As a Cook/Prep, you will be essential in delivering high-quality meals and maintaining kitchen efficiency. Reporting to the Head Chef, your core skills in food preparation, cooking, and food handling will ensure that all dishes meet our culinary standards. Your experience in the food industry and proficiency in knife skills will enhance meal preparation and presentation. Additionally, your knowledge of dietary needs and menu planning will contribute to a diverse and inclusive dining experience.
