PM, Monday-Friday Pay:

$20•23 per hour (based on experience) Position Summary Cross View Early Childhood Center is seeking a reliable and compassionate Cook/Server to support daily food service operations. This role is essential in providing nutritious meals and snacks to young children while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized kitchen environment. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a childcare setting and understands the importance of food safety, dietary compliance, and teamwork. Key Responsibilities Food Preparation & Service Prepare and cook meals and snacks according to posted menus and nutrition guidelines Portion and distribute meals to classrooms in compliance with state regulations Accommodate children's dietary needs, allergies, and preferences Set up trays, serve food, and assist with beverage preparation Kitchen Operations & Sanitation Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils Wash, sanitize, and store dishes and kitchen items properly Sweep and mop floors; ensure overall kitchen organization Maintain a steady workflow to ensure availability of clean dishes and supplies Inventory & Support Tasks Assist with food inventory and report supply needs Support food ordering and receiving, ensuring accuracy of deliveries Complete daily food service logs and reports Pick up or shop for food when needed (mileage reimbursed) Additional Duties Transport food carts and deliver items to classrooms Follow all health, safety, and licensing regulations

Qualifications Required:

Must be at least 21 years old High school diploma or equivalent Ability to lift up to 30 lbs Ability to pass background check Strong teamwork and communication skills

Preferred:
