Line Cook Delia's Mexican Grill and Bar - Jordan, MN Position Summary Delia's Mexican Grill and Bar is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Line Cook to join our growing team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and executing menu items with consistency, speed, and precision in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment. We are building a strong, professional kitchen culture. We are looking for team members who stay calm under pressure, take pride in their work, and understand that every plate leaving the kitchen represents our brand. Key Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Set up and stock assigned station with all necessary ingredients and supplies Maintain proper portion control and plating standards Communicate clearly with Expo and fellow cooks during service Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation at all times Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines (Minnesota health standards) Rotate and label products using FIFO methods Assist with prep work before and after service Restock and clean station at end of shift Support other stations when needed — we operate as a team Performance Expectations Ability to handle high-volume service while maintaining quality Maintain composure and professionalism during busy periods Work with urgency without sacrificing accuracy Accept coaching and adapt to operational changes Take initiative — no "that's not my job" mentality Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a strong team culture Qualifications 1+ year of kitchen experience preferred (Mexican cuisine experience a plus) Ability to work on your feet for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Strong understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation Reliable transportation and strong attendance record Must be authorized to work in the United States Schedule & Availability Evening and weekend availability required Ability to work holidays and special events Flexible schedule based on business needs Compensation Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Growth opportunities within the company Staff meal benefits Supportive team environment About Us Delia's Mexican Grill and Bar is a family-owned, full-service restaurant in Jordan, MN.
