DAY TO DAY AS A LEAD LINE COOK/SUPERVISOR AT THE HOWE
Lead the charge at CraftCrew Hospitality's The Howe as our next Lead Line Cook/Supervisor! This exciting role offers the opportunity to provide guidance and support to our talented back-of-house team, ensuring they deliver top-notch dishes every time. By overseeing training for new hires, managing staffing levels, and upholding company policies, you'll be instrumental in maintaining a high standard of excellence. With a focus on quality and consistency, you'll actively participate in service by manning a station and assisting wherever needed. WHAT MATTERS MOST
To excel as our Lead Line Cook/Supervisor at The Howe, you'll need a blend of skills and experience to thrive in our fast-paced kitchen environment. With 5+ years of experience as a Line Cook under your belt you'll demonstrate your expertise in culinary operations and food safety. Strong leadership qualities, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to problem-solve under pressure are key to effectively guiding the back-of-house team to success. Your physical stamina to withstand 8-10 hour shifts, lift up to 50 lbs, and navigate stairs effortlessly will ensure seamless operations. Knowledge of HealthSafety procedures, along with a Serve Safe Certification, is highly valued. Knowledge and skills required for the position are: 5+ Years experience as Line Cook Supervisory Experience preferred Excellent Communication Skills; Leadership Skills; Must be able to stand, walk, and move about for 8-10 hour shifts; Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs; Must be able to walk up and down stairs without complications Problem-solving abilities be prepared to think and act quickly in stressful situations; Knowledge of HealthSafety procedures in accordance with MDH.
