Taher, Inc is growing and is looking for a Production Cook to join our team! Position Summary
The Prep Cook is responsible for preparing ingredients according to standardized recipes, production schedules, and food safety standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and portion ingredients for production
Follow standardized recipes and cooking procedures
Cook food according to company standards
Complete production paperwork and documentation
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards
Remove damaged or incorrect product when identified
Assist with inventory organization and ingredient preparation
Follow all food safety and handling procedures
Support team members and production needs as assigned
Ensures quality standard are met and Correctly prepared and within acceptable time limits
Managing ordering, receiving, storing and inventory control of all perishable products following specific procedures and HACCP standards
Controlling waste
Using time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and organization
Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
2 years' previous experience preferred
Do simple arithmetic
Able to lift up to 50 Lbs. and stand for long periods of time
Dependable, Punctual
Ability to maintain a professional appearance
