Pau Hana has a quality kitchen team in place and is looking for full time line cooks to fill out our ranks. Schedule is flexible but it will be primarily evening shifts (we are not open for lunch Monday-Friday). This is a great opportunity for someone with high-volume kitchen experience to grow their culinary knowledge and get exposure to several different cuisines. Pau Hana serves "Hawaiian Regional Cuisine," which is essentially a culinary melting pot of all the different immigrant cultures that make up the population of the Hawaiian Islands. This includes Japanese, Korean, Vietnamese, Portuguese, Filipino, Pacific Islander, and more. Experience with Asian fusion is a plus but not required. Experience on a high-volume line is preferred. We will also cross-train on our wood-fired pizza oven, so some pizza experience is a plus as well. Starting wage is $18-$23/hour (DOQ), plus a share of the BOH tip pool (share of the takeout tips, typically another $1-$2 per hour). To apply, please submit a resume and references.
