Job Description

Join a family-owned team that has been around since 1984! Sundby Enterprises consists of R&J Horse Sales, A Bit of Tack and Sundby's Trailer Sales. All three locations are in Verndale, MN. R & J hosts many events throughout the year including Horse and Tack Auctions, Barrel Races, Pleasure Horse Shows, and Rodeo to name a few. We have a climate-controlled indoor arena that attracts guests from all over to visit our location. A Bit of Tack is one of the largest tack and apparel Western stores in Minnesota. There is something for everyone! Sundby's Trailer Sales sells 9 major brands of trailers, and services them as well. We are currently looking for someone to work at our R & J Arena location with our Kitchen Crew. Flexible Hours! High School students HIGHLY encouraged to apply.
Primary responsibilities:
Cook breakfast, lunch, supper Cook on a grill, and fryers Deliver food in a fast-paced environment Manage team to keep kitchen moving smoothly Run cash register and take orders Clean kitchen, wash dishes, wash tables, keep all cooking areas and dinning hall looking nice. All other duties assigned by supervisor(s)
Qualifications:
1 year+ Cooking experience 1 year+ Clean experience 1 year+ Customer Service Experience Team Player Must be able to work with all ages of staff and customers The R & J Cafe is a fast paced kitchen. We serve breakfast, lunch and supper most days of our events. We are only open when the location has an event. We host many different events throughout the year, primarily on weekends, with some Thursdays and Fridays included. Schedule can be flexible and adjustable. MUST be able to work weekends. Flexibility available. Wage Dependent Upon Experience.
