What You'll Do:

Prepare, cook, season, and serve a variety of meals and snacks according to menus and recipes while ensuring food quality and proper portioning. Order, stock, and organize food and kitchen supplies, including retrieving ingredients and preparing items for meal service. Operate and monitor kitchen equipment and cooking temperatures to ensure food is prepared safely and properly. Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen and dining environment, including dishwashing, cleaning tasks, and assisting dietary staff as needed.

What You'll Need:

High School Diploma or GED preferred One - Three months experience in a long-term care setting preferred Knowledge of food safety and food preparation Strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
