Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining and catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards, and contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards. Assist in menu planning and the development of new dishes. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage practices. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service. Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, demonstrating strong knife skills. Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed. Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation guidelines. Participate in catering events as required, ensuring high-quality service and presentation. Qualifications Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in fine dining or catering settings. Strong culinary skills with a focus on meal preparation and cooking techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling. Experience in menu planning is a plus. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other staff members. A passion for the food industry and commitment to providing outstanding service.
