Job Description
Missouri Girls Town is looking for a Cook who enjoys cooking and wants their work to matter. In this role, you'll prepare nutritious meals and help create a welcoming dining environment for youth in our residential program. If you like running your own kitchen, cooking real meals, and having a steady full-time schedule, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do Prepare daily breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks Manage day-to-day kitchen operations Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and food-safe Help with food deliveries and occasional campus events Maintain simple USDA meal program records What We're Looking For Age 21+ High school diploma or GED Ability to lift to 50 lbs Valid driver's license (Class E within 30 days) Food Handler's Card, CPR, and First Aid (or willingness to obtain) Dependable, organized, and comfortable working with other staff and working around youth Must pass a background check Why Work Here Full-time hours working 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with Sunday and Monday off Overtime paid after 40 hours Opportunity to make a positive impact on young people's lives Supportive team environment If you enjoy cooking and want a job where your work truly helps others, we'd love to hear from you.
