Responsibilities Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, slicing, marinating, and portioning ingredients Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met Follow food handling procedures diligently to prevent cross-contamination and ensure freshness Support kitchen team members during busy service periods, including catering events and special functions Ensure proper storage of ingredients and leftovers in accordance with safety protocols Collaborate with the culinary team on menu planning ideas and daily specials to enhance guest satisfaction Qualifications Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is highly desirable Strong knife skills and proficiency in food preparation techniques Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling practices Experience with meal preparation, cooking, and food industry standards Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail Familiarity with dietary department procedures or dietary aide experience is a plus Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward serving guests and supporting colleagues Embark on a rewarding culinary journey where your skills make a real impact!
