As a cook, you will assist in the overall management of the day-to-day operations of all food preparation and cooking in the kitchen.

Do:

Responsible for cooking, baking, and food preparation Ensure safe food storage and disposal, including maintaining temperature logs. Cook is responsible for preparing meals and snacks for children with special dietary needs Maintain children s allergy list regularly. Weekly ordering and receiving all food supplies, and replenishing dishware and cookware Follow food portioning guidelines and maintain appropriate food inventory Complies with all health regulations and the company s best practices Upkeep kitchen cleaning schedule, including dishwashing, daily, weekly, and monthly duties Occasionally required to prepare food for field trips, school-age programs, and community events. Duties and responsibilities may change from time to time to meet the needs of the daycare centers.

Who You Are Required :

High School diploma/GED equivalency required Valid driver's license and a clean driver s abstract. Current Food Handler Certification or willing to get Clear background checks and up-to-date health assessments. Ability to push, pull and lift to 45 pounds Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to take initiative and problem-solve effectively. Preferred Experience working with vulnerable populations Experience working with children.
