Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency, ensuring each dish meets quality standards. Assist in menu planning and ingredient preparation to support seasonal offerings and special events. Handle food with care, following strict food safety protocols to maintain cleanliness and prevent contamination. Support food presentation by garnishing dishes attractively and ensuring timely delivery to guests. Maintain an organized and sanitized kitchen workspace, including proper knife skills and food handling techniques. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient meal preparation and seamless service during busy hours. Participate in catering events and special functions, delivering exceptional food service that exceeds guest expectations. Qualifications Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable, demonstrating familiarity with specialized meal requirements. Proven culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant settings, showcasing strong food preparation and cooking skills. Knowledge of menu planning, food handling, and food safety practices essential for maintaining high standards. Skilled in using kitchen tools such as knives safely and effectively, with a focus on precision and efficiency. Experience in food industry roles involving meal preparation, catering, serving, or kitchen operations is preferred. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
