In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our kitchen, preparing fresh ingredients, cooking delicious dishes, and ensuring every plate meets our high standards. This position offers an energetic environment where your culinary skills can thrive, and your contributions directly impact the experience of our guests. Pay reflects experience. Responsibilities Friday and Saturday nights from 8:00pm - 4:00am food prep and services Prepare ingredients Cook and assemble dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards Handle food with care, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines Support catering events by preparing meals and managing food service logistics Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, including knife skills and food handling equipment Assist with meal preparation for late night carry-out, private parties and vending. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of high-quality food to guests Skills Experience working in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within restaurant or food service environments Knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and culinary techniques Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods Understanding of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices Previous experience in catering or large-scale food service is a plus Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude This role is paid, offering an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about culinary arts.
