$18.00 - $24.00 per hour (based on experience)

Full-Time or Part-Time About Opus Opus Kitchen + Lounge is an upscale lounge in University City featuring elevated comfort food, handcrafted cocktails, live music, and a mature, professional atmosphere. We are seeking a dependable and experienced Lead Line Cook / Prep Cook to join our growing team. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in food quality, organization, cleanliness, and consistency. Responsibilities Prepare menu items according to recipes and presentation standards Execute service efficiently during high-volume periods Assist with daily prep and kitchen organization Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards Help manage inventory levels and communicate prep needs Support kitchen operations and team execution Assist with opening and closing procedures Qualifications Previous line cook experience required Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and attendance Weekend availability required Positive attitude and strong work ethic Preferred Experience High-volume restaurant experience Experience working fry, flat-top, and sauté stations Ability to assist with prep lists and kitchen organization Leadership experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Flexible scheduling Growth opportunities as the business expands Professional and respectful work environment Consistent hours for strong performers Schedule Evening shifts Weekday shifts Weekend shifts Holidays as needed Compensation $18-$24 per hour based on experience, reliability, performance, and leadership ability.
