This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and overall restaurant management. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to food safety, hospitality, and teamwork, contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Duties Assist in the preparation and cooking of high-quality meals in accordance with established recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food service areas, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely service. Support the management team in maintaining inventory levels, including ordering supplies as needed. Participate in training sessions for new staff on kitchen operations and food safety protocols. Help manage dietary department needs, ensuring that all dietary restrictions are accommodated effectively. Engage in ongoing communication with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Skills Experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred. Knowledge of restaurant management practices and kitchen operations. Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with food service management principles is a plus. Ability to assist in team management tasks, fostering a positive work atmosphere. Previous experience or knowledge in a dietary department setting is beneficial but not required.
