In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily food preparation, ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene, and assisting with meal service in a fast-paced environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to creating a welcoming dining experience for our guests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop culinary skills while working in a dynamic setting that values teamwork and excellence. Responsibilities Prepare ingredients and assist with food assembly according to established recipes and menu specifications Support the culinary team in cooking, food handling, and meal preparation activities Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, adhering to food safety standards at all times Assist with menu planning and portion control to ensure consistency and quality in every dish Handle food with care, following proper sanitation procedures to prevent contamination Serve meals efficiently during service hours, ensuring timely delivery to guests or dining areas Support catering events by preparing and presenting food items professionally and attractively Experience Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable Experience working in fine dining, restaurants, or the food industry is preferred Strong skills in food preparation, cooking, knife handling, and meal assembly are essential Familiarity with food safety protocols, including proper food handling and sanitation practices Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and serving techniques will be considered an asset Prior kitchen experience demonstrating proficiency in food service operations is highly valued
